Job summary

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions Division seeks a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician to perform on-site support, emergency repairs, start-up services and preventive maintenance, based from a home office with daily travel to customer sites in the Minneapolis area.

You will be part of a world-class service team, receive robust training, and have access to a company vehicle, tools and benefits. Overtime eligibility applies; travel up to extended regions is required.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience including relevant coursework or internship.
• Current, unrestricted driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.
• Willingness to travel daily to customer sites with an Eaton-provided fleet vehicle.
• Occasional background checks and drug screenings as required by customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support, emergency repairs, start-up services and preventative maintenance.
• Be a key member of a world-class service organization.
• Receive comprehensive training, PPE and safety instruction before jobs.
• Lead field service activities and collaborate with on-site leads and technicians.
• Ensure safety audits and compliance programs are followed.
