Job summary

Bechtel seeks a senior field engineer to lead teams on complex LNG and energy-related projects across multiple disciplines. You will oversee work planning, material management, quantity validation, safety, quality control, and system turnover while coordinating with startup teams to ensure smooth handovers.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and extensive field experience, with mobility across locations as projects demand, and a strong focus on environmental, health, and safety standards.

Qualifications

Requires bachelor’s degree and 10–17 years of relevant experience.
Experience leading field engineering activities across multiple disciplines.
Ability to mentor and develop engineers and field personnel.

Responsibilities

Manage a team and provide field engineering leadership for work planning and packaging, material management, and quantity validation.
Oversee safety, quality control, inspection and testing knowledge, and system turnover coordination.
Coordinate between Construction and Startup to support component/system turnover and area turnover.
Review inspection test plans and subcontractor submittals.
