Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation seeks a seasoned Field Engineer/Project Lead for LNG-related work on US Gulf Coast projects. You will coordinate field engineering, planning, material management and system turnover, leading teams to meet safety and quality standards while aligning with project requirements.

The role requires extensive LNG construction experience, strong leadership, and the ability to mobilize across multiple sites.

Qualifications

Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
Construction experience on LNG projects; demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams.
Experience supervising a construction site in a supervisory position.
Heavy industrial direct hire construction experience in a supervisory role.
Experience in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing, or power generating station construction.
Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards; strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Extensive piping experience.

Responsibilities

Lead engineer on a medium to large LNG-related project, coordinating multiple disciplines.
Coordinate all activities related to construction engineering work and turnover.
Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to project requirements; manage materials and scheduling.
Oversee system turnover coordination and subcontract reviews; ensure effective collaboration with startup.
Manage CPM-based team development, competency assessment and feedback.
