Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation is seeking a senior Project Field Engineer to lead field engineering activities on large LNG-related projects in the US Gulf Coast region. You will manage a team, oversee work planning, material management, and safety, ensuring quality and timely turnover.

Expect mobility to other units as needed. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and extensive experience in construction engineering, with strong CPM, turnover, and vendor-document coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
• Advanced knowledge of preservation, maintenance, and environmental protection for construction projects.
• Strong ability to lead and coordinate field engineering across disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineer duties on medium to large jobs, coordinating multiple disciplines.
• Mentor and develop engineers and field personnel; drive competency development and feedback.
• Coordinate with design on constructability issues and ensure safety, quality, and turnover readiness.
• Review material receiving, warehousing, and ensure delivery of correct materials; forecast quantities.
• Coordinate between Construction and Startup for system walkdowns and turnover.
