Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Project Field Engineer to provide field engineering support on LNG and energy infrastructure. You will handle work planning, material management, QA, inspections, and turnover coordination to ensure safe, compliant construction.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of relevant experience, or 6–9 years in lieu of degree, with knowledge of field surveying, document control, and ITP development. Willingness to mobility across units is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent; 2–5 years relevant experience or 6–9 years’ experience without degree.
• Experience in LNG facilities construction preferred.
• Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
• Familiarity with Bechtel work processes and BSAP tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist PFE in establishing and maintaining field engineering programs.
• Maintain project document control and use latest documents.
• Develop integrated installation plans for cross-discipline work.
• Ensure work package generation supports the construction schedule.
• Provide day-to-day direction for multi-discipline field engineers.
• Develop ITPs and assist with field change documentation.
• Perform quality inspections and prepare related docs.
• Coordinate with design engineering to resolve constructability issues.
• Support subcontract technical sections and field scoping.
• Prepare construction progress reports and forecasts.
