Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an experienced Project Field Engineer/Lead Engineer to join our Energy Global Business Unit on LNG plant projects along the US Gulf Coast. You will lead field engineering activities, manage planning, materials, and quality, and ensure safe, on-schedule turnover of systems.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and 10–13 years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of electrical design, high voltage equipment, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in construction and technical inspection of electrical/design.
• Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety and Health (ES&H).

Responsibilities

• Lead engineer on medium to large projects, coordinating multiple disciplines.
• Coordinate with design on constructability issues and ensure safety and quality.
• Review material receiving reports and warehousing to assure correct materials.
• Coordinate between Construction and Startup for system turnover and interface with startup team.
