Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to supervise daily crew operations, coordinate work orders, and enforce safety policies in the field. You will mentor crew members, conduct training, and ensure productive performance while maintaining strong customer relations.

The role requires CDL, ability to travel for storm work, and a commitment to safety. Starting pay is an hourly wage with full-time, non-exempt status and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Must have organization skills and be able to multi-task.
• Must be capable of adjusting to field requirements and taking independent action without close supervision.
• Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Weight restrictions apply for equipment handling; safety first.
• Must have no fear of heights.
• Must be able to travel for storm work.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew members.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA requirements.
• Obtains access permissions from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports on crew performance.
• Controls crew costs and optimizes use of resources.
• Furnishes reports on incidents, repairs, and equipment status.
• Cooperates with customers and emergency services as needed.
