Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to oversee daily crew operations, coordinate with management on hiring needs, deadlines, and safety protocols, and mentor field staff.

The role emphasizes training, safety enforcement, customer relations, equipment maintenance, and reporting. A CDL and ability to travel for storm work are required. This position offers competitive wages and strong benefit options.

Qualifications

• CDL license required and able to operate company vehicles.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Willing to travel for storm work.
• Must be able to work in physical environments up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and assign daily crew work after orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conduct field training and retraining for crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforce safe work practices per OSHA and company policies; provide safety training.
• Discuss access, power interruption, and work scope with property owners; refer issues to General Foreperson.
• Obtain oral or written permission from property owners to perform work.
• Maintain customer relations and ensure professional conduct of crew.
• Investigate minor incidents and repairs as needed and report.
• Maintain records, timesheets, and crew performance reports.
• Control crew costs and optimize use of people and equipment.
• Provide reports of completed orders and crew activity to supervisors.
• Submit incident or equipment reports and coordination details.
