Job summary

Bechtel in Houston, TX seeks a Lead Field Engineer to coordinate multi‑discipline field activities for support buildings. You will lead teams across Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Piping, and Electrical scopes, ensuring work packages, material readiness, and timely turnover.

Lead with safety, quality, and adherence to project requirements in a dynamic environment. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and extensive experience in field engineering and project execution,

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree and 8–10 years of relevant experience (or 12–14 years alternative).
Broad knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, piping, and electrical field engineering.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving for multi-discipline teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate multi-discipline field engineering activities for assigned support buildings.
Develop and maintain integrated field engineering execution plans and work packages.
Coordinate communications among construction, design, procurement, quality, project controls, commissioning, startup and client teams.
Lead material readiness and inspections, supporting turnover to Commissioning and startup.
