Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a qualified lead engineer to provide field engineering leadership for work planning, material management, quantity validation, safety and quality control, and system turnover coordination. You will oversee a team, ensure compliance with project requirements, and coordinate with design and startup functions.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and 5–8 years of experience (or 9–12 years without a degree).

Qualifications

• Required bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience [OR] 9-12 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineer on a small to medium job, coordinating a variety of disciplines or Deputy Project Field Engineer coordinating all activities in the operating section.
• Provide field engineering leadership for work planning, packaging, material management, quantity validation, safety and quality control, testing knowledge and system turnover.
• Coordinate between construction and startup to support turnover and interface with startup specialists as required.
