Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Field Engineering Manager to lead field engineering activities for work planning, packaging, materials, and turnover. You will oversee safety, quality control, and subcontract coordination on large-scale projects in the semiconductor, EV battery, and data-center sectors.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 10–17 years of relevant experience, with strong skills in 4D/5D planning and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10–13 years of relevant experience or 14–17 years total experience.
• Experience in semiconductor, EV battery, data centers, or Pharmaceuticals preferred.
• Hands-on implementation of AWP and OSM strategies; project setup, turnover and completion preferred.
• Proficiency with digital execution tools, 4D/5D planning and analytics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project field engineering activities with site management interface.
• Direct staffing plans and supervise field engineers for safe, quality execution.
• Oversee design of temporary facilities and planning of materials.
• Manage quantity take-off, reporting and forecasting.
• Ensure zero accident safety culture; enforce QA/QC compliance.
• Coordinate subcontract reviews and inspection/test plans.
