Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a field engineering leader to manage work planning, packaging, material management, quantity validation, and quality control on our projects. The role includes coordinating multiple disciplines, directing field procurement, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee turnover and subcontract coordination and mentor teams towards project success. Required is a bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of experience (or 9–12 years without a degree).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years in lieu of a degree.
• Strong knowledge of field engineering leadership and construction execution is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineer responsibilities across area or Deputy Project Field Engineer role coordinating system turnover and subcontract activities.
• Coordinate with design on constructability and oversee work planning, material management and quantity validation.
• Direct procurement requisitions, material substitutions, services and equipment; manage safety and quality control.
• Ensure zero-accident philosophy and adherence to project requirements; coordinate system turnover.
