Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading staff or projects; ability to train and coach others.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to present to groups of customers or employees.
• Proficiency with order processing systems and email/spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of MainSaver program is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Supervise feed mill shift operations and staff.
• Ensure compliance with ISO22000 Feed Safety and Quality programs.
• Direct and coordinate ingredient receiving, grain drying, batching, pelleting, grinding and testing.
• Maintain safety protocols and environmental stewardship.
• Prepare operational reports and communicate with dispatch, procurement, and maintenance.
• Support capital projects and budget planning.
