Job summary

Accura Engineering in Lexington, KY seeks a Project Engineer to provide construction project engineering services, including project observation, QA, contract administration, and reporting to government personnel. This role supports project delivery by implementing government decisions and assisting with submittal reviews, cost estimates, and contract modifications.

The candidate will coordinate with contractors and internal teams, ensuring compliance with plans, schedules, and quality control

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in construction project engineering, management, or inspection.
• Experience supporting USACE/DoD or federal construction programs preferred.
• Familiarity with local permitting/utilities and construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction, contract administration, and QA activities per contract requirements.
• Prepare daily reports on progress, costs, and engineering considerations.
• Review schedules, progress payments, and delay factors.
• Verify quality plans, safety plans, and submittal registers for compliance.
• Submit daily QA Reports and track deficiencies and RFIs.
• Assist with change proposals and Government cost/time estimates.
• Monitor site location, layout, and required quality control tests.
