Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a facilities team and ensure safe, well-maintained stores. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior techs across multiple Nordstrom locations.

Responsibilities include coordinating parts, vendor relations, and attending project meetings while upholding safety standards and enforcing LOTO and PPE protocols. A strong background in HVAC, electrical, and building systems is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; Associates or higher preferred.
• 5-7 years hands-on facilities experience with mechanical maintenance.
• 5+ years predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
• 5+ years of HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical repair.
• Able to troubleshoot basic I/O and low voltage signaling.
• Ability to work without supervision and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills across organization levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CMMS and Coupa.
• Knowledge of computer networking systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues affecting store operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and systems.
• Troubleshoot alarms and verify proper building operation.
• Mentor technicians and train new staff.
• Assist with parts ordering, vendor coordination, and meetings.
• Promote safety and document maintenance with accuracy.
• Respond to location emergencies when needed.
• Maintain CMMS records and inventory.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and property managers.
