Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team in keeping Nordstrom stores safe and well-maintained for customers and employees. You will support the Facility Manager, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot building systems, and mentor junior technicians across multiple Nordstrom locations.

You will work with HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and building controls, manage parts orders, and participate in vendor meetings while promoting safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on facilities maintenance experience with emphasis in mechanical maintenance.
• Experience with HVAC and refrigeration, electrical and plumbing related to building systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems across store operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and systems; respond to alarms and maintenance needs.
• Document outcomes and maintain CMMS records; mentor junior technicians.
