Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a facilities team across multiple store locations. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems, and monitor building controls to ensure daily readiness for business.

Equipped to mentor technicians, you will coordinate with vendors, attend meetings, and uphold safety standards including LOTO and PPE. Strong communication across levels is essential and CMMS/Coupa experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; Associates or higher degree preferred
• 5-7 years of hands-on facilities experience with emphasis in mechanical maintenance
• 5+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventive maintenance procedures
• 5+ years of experience with HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills
• Able to troubleshoot basic input/output, low voltage signaling and logical devices

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Store Operations
• Operate and monitor building controls and building systems
• Troubleshoot alarms and verify proper building operation
• Lead equipment rounds and document malfunctions; mentor other technicians
