Job summary

SES Constructors LLC is seeking a Lead Estimator for our Civil Construction Business Line. The role focuses on preparing detailed estimates from plans, specs, and scopes of work with a self-perform heavy civil emphasis.

This remote position requires EST or CST alignment and occasional travel. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering, field experience in self-perform civil infrastructure, and fluency with Bid2Win or HCSS Heavy Bid.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering is required.
• Experience reading and interpreting contracts, drawings, specs, scopes of work, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates including crew assemblies and production rates.
• Provide detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Source and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes for best value.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with field and office teams during estimation.
• Meet milestone reviews to ensure on-time submissions.
• Support constructability reviews with project team and subcontractors.
• Communicate with Operations post-award to address site conditions.
