Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Austin, TX is seeking an Estimating Manager 2 to review and execute bids on multiple, more complex projects. You will lead all aspects of the estimating and bid process from plans review to pricing negotiations with contractors and suppliers.

This role requires strong collaboration with project teams, hands-on experience in cost estimating, and the ability to drive profitability while managing risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 5+ years estimating experience required.
• Preference for total of 8+ years construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs quantity survey of materials shown on project plans.
• Reads and outlines project specifications.
• Prepares complex cost estimates for bids and negotiated proposals.
• Develops and manages scopes of work for all trades.
• Collaborates with operations for constructability reviews and pricing.
