Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced ESI Systems Engineering Manager 2 to lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team within the Sentinel Systems Engineering, Integration, & Test (SEIT) unit in Huntsville, AL. The role emphasizes systems-of-systems integration, stakeholder collaboration, and driving technical execution.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong leadership, extensive systems engineering knowledge, and the ability to manage complex interfaces while coordinating with NG, SPO,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 8 years of relevant experience; 6 years with a Masters.
• U.S. Citizenship with Active Federal Secret clearance.
• 2+ years experience on large-scale, complex system development across multiple development phases.
• Earned Value Management (EVM) experience or CAM training.
• Experience working with external customers to meet program expectations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate status and progress metrics to Program Managers and customers.
• Lead integration activities for systems-of-systems integration.
• Support cost and schedule objectives, EVMS tracking and CAM activities.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to teams during project execution.
• Coordinate between SEIT and other integration teams.
• Identify risks and opportunities in integration.
• Manage and forecast engineering resources with management.
• Lead a diverse, fast-paced WS enterprise team across NG, SPO, and industry partners.
