Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an ESI Systems Engineering Manager 2 to lead multi-disciplinary teams within the Sentinel Systems Engineering, Integration, & Test (SEIT) unit. You will drive system-level integration for complex weapon system interfaces, mentor engineers, and collaborate with customers and NG/SPO partners to meet program objectives.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and hands-on experience in systems engineering artifacts, integration planning, and risk

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership of multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong system-of-systems integration experience.
• Excellent communication with program managers, IPTs, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Communicate status and progress metrics to Program Managers and customers.
• Lead integration activities for systems-of-systems integration and external interfaces.
• Support cost/schedule objectives and EVMS/CAM activities.
• Demonstrate leadership principles and drive engineering process improvement.
• Develop key system engineering artifacts such as requirements and interface definitions.
• Mentor teams and coordinate with SEIT and other integration groups.
• Identify risks and opportunities and forecast engineering resources.
• Lead a diverse team across NG, SPO, and mission/industry partners.
