Northrop Grumman's Sentinel Program in Huntsville, AL seeks a Systems Engineering Manager 2 to lead the System Engineering Team in developing weapon system interfaces, requirements, and verification planning. You will mentor and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, balancing functional oversight with program delivery under SDS.

The role emphasizes leadership, ethics, and collaboration across directorates, with a focus on MBSE and governance to meet program objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM plus 8 years related experience or Master’s in STEM with 6 years related experience.
• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope.
• 1 year of ICBM experience (MMIII or Sentinel).
• 2 years of experience using MBSE tools (SysML, DoDAF, or UAFP in Cameo or Rhapsody).
• Sentinel special program access (PAR).

Responsibilities

• Lead or supervise a team of systems engineers with performance reviews and coaching responsibilities.
• Define team work scope, assign tasks, and ensure traceability to baselines.
• Review verification content and governance/requirements artifacts for accuracy.
• Report program status and progress to senior leadership and government customers.
• Provide career mentorship and staffing support for Functional Homeroom sections.
