Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking a Lead Solution Architect with deep GIS architecture expertise to design and implement enterprise GIS solutions for projects in the utility sector.

You will lead architectural design, oversee VM and cloud deployments, and ensure scalable GIS capabilities across client environments. You will drive integrations with SAP/Maximo and OT systems, orchestrate Esri technologies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related field.
• 5+ years in enterprise GIS design/architecture.
• Experience installing/configuring enterprise Esri environments.
• Experience cloud-based/cloud-native architectures.
• Experience GIS software design/implementation.
• Experience in utilities or distributed asset-based solutions.
• Experience integrating with EAM (SAP/Maximo) and OT systems.
• Ability to translate business requirements to technical solutions.
• Ability to lead multi-workstream teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and implementation of enterprise GIS solutions on VM and cloud platforms.
• Integrate GIS with other enterprise systems (SAP/Maximo, OT, etc.).
• Deploy Esri Enterprise stack components (Portal, Web Adaptor, Datastore, Hosting Server).
• Develop performance testing plans and capacity planning.
• Serve as technical liaison with client IT/business leads; present/workshop demos.
• Assist sales/marketing with proposals to align technical solutions with client needs.
