Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking a Lead Solution Architect with deep enterprise GIS expertise to design and implement GIS solutions for utility projects. You will lead architecture across VM and cloud platforms, integrating GIS with ERP and OT systems.

The role requires 5+ years in GIS, Esri deployment experience, and ability to travel up to 25%. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support proposals and client workshops.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with enterprise GIS system design and architecture.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise Esri environments.
• Experience designing and implementing cloud based and cloud native architectures.
• Experience designing GIS software solutions.
• Experience in utilities and/or distributed asset-based solutions.
• Experience in integration with EAM (SAP or Maximo) and OT Systems (ADMS, OMS).
• Ability to translate business requirements to a technical solution and lead multi‑stream teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and implementation of enterprise GIS solutions.
• Integrate GIS with other enterprise systems (e.g., SAP/Maximo).
• Deploy and manage Esri stack components (Portal, Web Adaptor, Datastore, Hosting Server, ArcGIS Pro).
• Lead performance testing and capacity planning.
• Engage with clients, present solutions, and run workshops.
• Assist sales with technically-aligned proposals and bid responses.
