Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking a Lead Solution Architect with deep expertise in enterprise GIS architecture to design and implement GIS solutions for utility projects.

You will lead the architecture, oversee deployments on VM and cloud platforms, and guide cross-functional teams across data, development, and client engagement. The role involves integrating GIS with enterprise systems (Maximo, SAP, ADMS), performance testing, and collaborating with clients on technical solutions and proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with enterprise GIS system design and architecture.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise Esri environments.
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-based and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience in utilities and/or distributed asset-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and implementation of enterprise GIS solutions for utility projects.
• Coordinate integrations with other enterprise systems (Maximo, SAP, ADMS).
• Deploy Esri stack components across data centers or cloud environments.
• Drive system performance testing and capacity planning.
• Engage clients with technical presentations and workshops to showcase GIS capabilities.
• Support sales with proposals and bid responses to align with client needs.
