Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking a Lead Solution Architect with deep expertise in enterprise GIS architecture to design and implement GIS solutions for utility projects. You will lead architecture across VM and cloud platforms, integrating GIS with core enterprise systems, deploying Esri stacks, and driving performance planning.

You will engage with clients, support proposals, and guide cross-functional teams of developers and GIS analysts while traveling up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 5+ years of GIS system design and architecture experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of enterprise GIS solutions for utility projects.
• Integrate GIS with enterprise systems such as Maximo, SAP, or ADMS.
• Deploy Esri components (Portal for ArcGIS, Datastore, Hosting Server, ArcGIS Pro) in scalable, fault-tolerant environments.
• Conduct performance testing and capacity planning for GIS solutions.
• Engage with clients, present capabilities, and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Assist in proposal development to align solutions with client needs and best practices.
