Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) at Starfire Optical Range in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an Associate, Mid-Level, or Lead Embedded Software Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team developing embedded electro-mechanical pointing and tracking control systems for electro-optical platforms.

This onsite role requires TS/ Secret clearance eligibility, strong C++ and RTOS experience, VIVADO/VITIS knowledge, and a hands-on approach to design, implement, integrate, and test firmware and

Qualifications

Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required.
Ability to obtain U.S. Top Secret clearance after start.
BS in Engineering or related field.
2+ years SoC hardware/software experience.
2+ years C++ in Windows environment.
2+ years RTOS experience.

Responsibilities

Support firmware and software R&D projects.
Develop firmware and software architectures with a team.
Research required algorithms and implementation approaches.
Design and validate firmware components.
Integrate firmware for the target platform.
Develop and maintain software code.
Integrate software into a fully functional system.
Troubleshoot firmware and software issues.
Assist with test procedures and document results.
