Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space and Security's Starfire Optical Range in Albuquerque, NM seeks an Associate or Mid-Level Embedded Test and Evaluation Engineer (Level 2 or 3) to join a multidisciplinary team at a historic site. The role focuses on embedded electro-mechanical pointing and tracking control systems for electro-optical platforms.

The selected candidate will support hardware, firmware and software development, and work 100% onsite with opportunities to influence Space Domain Awareness

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required (or ability to obtain).
• 2+ years testing embedded systems in a lab environment.
• 2+ years programming in Python, Java, C, C++, MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Support firmware and software R&D projects for embedded systems.
• Develop test procedures, unit/integration/system testing, and documentation.
• Set up and configure test environments for embedded hardware/software.
• Troubleshoot firmware and software issues; develop test tools/scripts.
