The Boeing Company is seeking an Embedded Test and Evaluation Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level) to join the Starfire Optical Range team at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM. The role involves supporting hardware, firmware, and software development for electro‑optical systems and maintaining embedded test environments.

Candidates should have a BS in Engineering or related field, 2+ years of embedded testing experience, and proficiency in Python, C/C++, Java, and MATLAB.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Top Secret clearance (post start).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years testing embedded systems in a lab.
• 2+ years programming in Python, Java, C, C++, or MATLAB.
• Willingness for variable shifts (days/evening/night/weekends).

Responsibilities

• Support firmware and software R&D projects for embedded systems.
• Apply unit/integration/system/regression testing techniques.
• Develop test tools and scripts for automation.
• Set up and configure test environments for embedded hardware/software.
• Test and validate firmware components; troubleshoot issues.
• Document test results to verify requirements.
