Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking a General Superintendent to oversee multiple commercial and industrial electrical projects in the Tampa Bay area.

You will lead a team of 50+ field personnel and ensure safe installation, scheduling, and coordination to meet scope, budget, and schedules. Responsibilities include on-site supervision of supervisors and crews, planning, document review, client relations, and coordination with internal departments to achieve project success.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved electrical apprenticeship program.
• Minimum 4 years of field supervision/management experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects and supervise field staff.
• Plan layouts, schedule materials and equipment to meet scope and budgets.
• Manage on-site construction, subcontractors, and field personnel to meet timelines and quality.
• Review project documents and coordinate field installations.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with HR, Estimating, Accounting, Finance, and other staff.
• Interact with owners, architects, engineers, and vendors.
