Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team seeks an experienced MCF Electrical Project Designer/Engineer to develop advanced electrical designs for data centers under supervision of a Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager. The role includes coordinating with multiple disciplines and guiding designers, while ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 7+ years related industry experience; datacenter experience preferred.
• PE license or other professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops advanced systems designs within own discipline with limited supervision.
• Delegates tasks to project designers as appropriate.
• Prepares project deliverables per client’s intent and scope of work.
• Assists in evaluation and selection of electrical equipment.
• Coordinates with disciplines to integrate work and client requests.
• Follows quality management process and reviews deliverables for QA/QC.
