Job summary

IMEG Corp. in Atlanta, GA seeks an Electrical Project Designer to lead design efforts for low to moderate complexity projects, acting as project manager or lead engineer and collaborating with senior staff on larger projects.

You will design and analyze electrical systems for buildings, mentor staff, manage budgets, and ensure safety and code compliance while delivering integrated MEP solutions for housing, multifamily, commercial and retail sectors.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Alternative: 2-year degree with BIM/Engineering certificate preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in building design consulting; 7+ years preferred for senior track.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and design of electrical systems for buildings.
• Prepare drawings, specs, and calculations compliant with codes.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers.
• Support budgeting, scheduling, and client communications.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure design quality control.
