Job summary

IMEG Corp is looking for a Senior Electrical Designer in Cincinnati, OH to lead design efforts as a project manager or lead designer for moderate to complex projects. You will mentor staff, manage budgets, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality electrical systems.

The role focuses on industrial, manufacturing, and MEP work, with hybrid work options and a strong ESOP culture that supports career growth and client relationships.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years in building design consulting; 8+ years preferred.
• 11+ years in building design consulting or construction industry (as alternative).
• Ability to mentor, train, and lead others.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee, and manage projects of moderate to complex size.
• Assist executives with design scopes, fee calculations, and contract reviews.
• Create project schedules with milestones and deadlines.
• Serve as primary contact for teams and clients and manage monthly billings.
• Ensure design complies with owner standards, IMEG standards, and codes.
• Lead design and construction coordination across phases.
• Conduct site visits and document findings.
• Develop client relationships and growth opportunities.
