Job summary

IMEG Corp. in Raleigh, NC seeks an Electrical Project Designer to lead design efforts for low to moderate complexity projects and collaborate with senior staff on larger, high-complexity projects. You will plan, budget, schedule, review, and oversee project work while mentoring cross-functional teams.

You will apply electrical system analysis, create detailed designs and calculations, and ensure compliance with codes and IMEG standards. Travel up to 15% and in-office schedule are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of circuit theory, electromagnetism, and power systems for buildings.
• Experience with BIM and Revit Add-ins is preferred.
• Proficiency with lighting and power system design software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for low to moderate complexity projects.
• Create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations per codes and IMEG standards.
• Gather requirements, communicate with clients, and build relationships.
• Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and design-progress monitoring.
• Mentor cross-functional teams and perform design reviews for quality control.
