Job summary

Comfort Systems USA, Inc. Foreman Electrician sought to supervise a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial sites.

Lead, train, and evaluate the team while overseeing installation, alterations and repairs of electrical systems and equipment. The role requires 7–10 years of electrical construction experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read blueprints and project specs.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Leadership abilities to lead teams of five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand contract-related documents.
• Ability to coordinate with other trades and trade supervisors.
• Willingness to learn BlueBeam, Navisworks and related programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work quality meets high standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for their team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and communicate lists to supervision.
• Assist in achieving production and budget goals by understanding what needs to be done.
• Ensure all work is within NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices and panels.
