Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. The role involves leading on-site tasks, coordinating schedules, and ensuring high-quality workmanship in line with blueprints, specs, and NEC guidelines.

You will read drawings, develop material lists, and supervise trade interactions, while mentoring junior electricians and maintaining safety and quality at the job site.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in electrical construction (commercial/industrial).
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of ~5 electricians.
• Understanding of blueprints, specs, and project documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to high standards.
• Develop manpower schedule for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating with the team.
• Ensure work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices and panels.
• Read project specifications and drawings; layout from drawings.
