Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks a Foreman Electrician to supervise a crew on commercial/industrial electrical installations and maintenance. You will lead Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, inspect quality, and ensure work aligns with project specs and timelines.

You will read blueprints, develop material lists, coordinate with supervision, and mentor staff while maintaining safety and NEC compliance. Overtime may be required on project schedules.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates leadership abilities with the capability and desire to grow in this area.
• Able to lead five-person crews including Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Able to read and understand project blueprints and related documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands; communicate to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals; communicate needs to team.
• Ensure all work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels, and feeders.
• Read and understand project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Lay out work areas from drawings; manage underground layouts.
• Determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizing.
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits.
