Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial/industrial electrical projects. You will supervise Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, mentor the team, develop work plans, and verify quality and safety in accordance with NEC and local codes.

The role requires strong blueprint comprehension, material planning, and the ability to manage schedules and budgets while coordinating with supervision to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Demonstrates leadership with ability to mentor a crew of five.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project docs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Meet production and budget goals and communicate needs to the team.
• Ensure all work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels and feeders.
• Read project specs, blueprints and schematics; layout work from drawings.
• Determine wire, conduit and junction box sizing; basic circuit troubleshooting.
