Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to supervise a crew on commercial/industrial electrical construction projects. You will lead journeymen, apprentices and helpers, read blueprints, coordinate material lists, and ensure compliance with NEC standards and project specs.

You will develop manpower schedules, mentor your team, and drive production within budget while maintaining quality and safety on site.

Qualifications

7-10 years of experience performing electrical construction in commercial and/or industrial environments.
Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
Adept at reading and understanding project blueprints, specifications, and other contract documents.
Understanding of construction schedules and ability to work within them.
Willingness to learn and use BlueBeam and Navisworks for project planning.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
Work alongside their crew and ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
Assist in the development of an effective manpower schedule for their team.
Develop material lists from layouts and communicate lists to supervision.
Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating tasks with the team.
Ensure all work by crew complies with local and NEC guidelines.
Inspect and install electrical conduit, devices, panels, and feeders as required.
Read project specs, blueprints and schematics and apply them on site.
