Job summary

Comfort Systems USA in Maine is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will oversee installation, alteration and repair work while ensuring safety and quality.

You will develop manpower schedules, prepare material lists, read specs and blueprints, coordinate with supervision, and help meet production and budget goals, including weekends and overtime.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead and coach teams of about five electricians.
• Understanding of blueprints and project documents.
• Ability to read project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime.
• Strong communication with other trades and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers, and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to high standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Prepare material lists from layouts and job site needs.
• Install and terminate electrical devices and conduits.
• Read and interpret project specifications and blueprints.
• Use BlueBeam/Navisworks to understand plans when needed.
• Work within NEC and local guidelines.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of lighting and power circuits.
• Lead crew to meet production and budget goals.
