Job summary

Amteck is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on electrical installation projects. You will supervise Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, ensuring work is safe, efficient and compliant with NEC standards.

The role requires strong leadership, blueprint literacy, and the ability to coordinate manpower and materials. You will work onsite, oversee schedules, and mentor team members to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a crew of ~5 workers.
• Strong reading of blueprints, specs and project documents.
• Able to coordinate manpower and communicate with supervision clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work quality meets high standards and safety guidelines.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team and communicate needs to supervision.
• Create material lists from layouts and area prints for procurement.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures and panels as required.
• Read project specs and project drawings to lay out work and troubleshoot.
