Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial electrical installations. You will supervise on-site execution, mentor team members, interpret blueprints and schematics, and ensure work meets NEC and local codes.

Qualifications

• Leadership and mentoring of a crew (Helpers, Apprentices, Journeyman)
• Ability to read and interpret project specs, blueprints, and schematics
• Strong communication and coordination with trades and supervision
• Experience with construction schedules and manpower planning
• Familiarity with BlueBeam, Navisworks or equivalent project plan tools
• Ability to measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards
• Develop manpower schedules for the team
• Prepare material lists from layouts and job site demands
• Help meet production and budget goals by communicating needs to the team
• Ensure crew work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines
• Layout and install electrical conduit, devices, panels and conductors
• Read project specs, blueprints and schematics and perform field layout
• Conduct basic troubleshooting of lighting and power circuits
