Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to supervise a crew on commercial/industrial sites in Lavonia, GA. The role requires leading Journeyman, Apprentices and_helpers, ensuring safety and quality while coordinating with supervision.

You will read specifications, interpret blueprints, and manage materials, schedules and budgets to meet project goals. Strong leadership and NEC knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities with the capability and desire to grow in this area, able to lead and coach teams of five.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and project documents.
• Strong communication with other trades and supervision; negotiates work assignments.
• Proficient in material estimation and coordinating with supervision.
• Familiarity with NEC guidelines and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work quality meets the highest standards.
• Assist in developing an effective manpower schedule for the team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands; communicate to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals through planning and clear team communication.
• Ensure all crew work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Independently measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels and feeders.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of circuitry and project drawings.
• Lay out work from electrical drawings, including underground layouts.
• Determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizing.
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits.
