Job summary

Comfort Systems USA in Pooler, GA seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. The Foreman will oversee installation, alterations and repairs while training and evaluating team members on site.

You will develop schedules, prepare material lists, and coordinate with supervision to meet production and budget goals. Strong leadership and blueprint literacy are essential.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead and coach a small crew on site.
• Strong understanding of blueprints, specs and schedules.
• Willingness to learn and use BlueBeam/Navisworks for project plans.
• Good communication with trades and supervision.
• Knowledge of NEC and local code guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure safety and quality standards across the crew's work.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job-site demands.
• Contribute to production and budget goals through planning.
• Verify work complies with local NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install conduit and related fittings.
• Install electrical devices, panels and feeders.
• Demonstrate circuitry knowledge and read schematics.
• Layout work from drawings including underground areas.
• Determine wire, conduit and box sizes correctly.
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits.
