Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on electrical construction projects in Georgia. You will oversee Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, ensuring work quality, safety, and schedule adherence on commercial/industrial sites.

You will read and interpret blueprints and specs, develop material lists, and coordinate with supervision to meet production and budget goals, while mentoring the team in best practices and code compliance.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial and/or industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Basic reading of blueprints and construction documents; understands project specifications and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work alongside their crew and ensure quality of work to high standards.
• Assist in developing an effective manpower schedule for their team.
• Develop material lists from layouts, area prints, and job site demands and communicate lists to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating with the team.
• Ensure all crew work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit and related hardware.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels, and feeder conductors.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of circuitry and electrical systems.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and site documents; lay out work from drawings including underground layouts.
• Determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizing accurately.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of lighting and general power circuits.
