Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on electrical construction projects. You will supervise Journeyman, Apprentices and Helpers, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to project specifications and NEC guidelines.

You will develop manpower schedules, review blueprints, read schematics, and perform field layouts using Trimble equipment. Strong leadership and communication with multiple trades are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience.
• Ability to lead and coach a crew of five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians.
• Strong understanding of project blueprints, schematics and NEC guidelines.
• Excellent communication with other trades and trade supervisors.
• Willingness to learn field layouts and use Trimble equipment.
• Participation in leadership training when offered.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work meets high standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate them to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating with the crew.
• Ensure all work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Perform field layout and install electrical components as required.
• Read project specs, blueprints and schematics.
• Lay out small sections from drawings and project documents.
