Job summary

Amteck in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Electrical Foreman to oversee a crew of helpers, apprentices and journeyman electricians on a new construction project. The Foreman will install, alter and repair electrical systems while leading, training and evaluating the crew, with a focus on safety, quality and productivity.

You will read blueprints, specs, and schematics, develop material lists, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with NEC guidelines.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a crew of about five electricians.
• Thorough understanding of project specs, blueprints, and NEC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Apprentices and Helpers on the job site.
• Ensure work quality meets the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Read and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Lay out and install electrical conduit, devices, and conductors as required.
