Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Foreman for our Atlanta project. You will lead a crew of Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, supervise installation, alterations and repairs of electrical systems, and mentor the team on safety and quality.

You will read blueprints and project specs to guide work and coordinate with supervision to meet schedules. You will develop manpower plans, ensure NEC compliance, and drive on-site efficiency while maintaining high workmanship standards and effective

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a crew of ~5 workers.
• Strong understanding of blueprints and contract documents.
• Solid communication with other trades and supervision.
• Ability to read and follow project schedules and plans.
• Willingness to participate in leadership training and development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work quality meets the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site needs.
• Meet production and budget goals and communicate needs clearly.
• Ensure crew work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Install conduit, devices, panels and related equipment.
• Read project specs, blueprints and schematics.
• Lay out work from electrical drawings, including underground layout.
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits.
