Amteck in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to supervise a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on a new construction project.

You will lead, mentor, plan manpower, review project specifications, blueprints and schematics, and ensure work meets NEC standards and quality benchmarks.

The role requires strong leadership, contractor coordination, and the ability to manage schedules and materials while upholding safety on site.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
  • Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of ~5 electricians.
  • Understand small scope of work and communicate across trades.
  • Read and understand blueprints and project documents.
  • Develop schedules and coordinate with supervision.
  • Learn and apply BlueBeam and Navisworks for project plans.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
  • Ensure quality of work to high standards.
  • Develop manpower schedules for the team.
  • Create material lists from layouts and job site needs.
  • Help achieve production and budget goals by clear communication.
  • Ensure work complies with NEC and local guidelines.
  • Measure, cut, install conduit and electrical devices per drawings.
  • Read project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
