Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Foreman for a new construction project in Atlanta, GA. The role involves leading a crew of helpers, apprentices, and journeyman electricians on site, ensuring quality and safety while coordinating materials and schedules.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of electrical construction experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read blueprints and project documents. Proficiency with BlueBeam/Navisworks is a plus, and on-site presence is required.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Demonstrates leadership with ability to grow to lead, mentor and coach teams of ~5.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project documents.
• Experience coordinating with other trades and supervising subcontractors.
• Willingness to learn BlueBeam/Navisworks and related project planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeymen, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work quality meets high standards and safety guidelines.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team and allocate resources.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate with supervision.
• Support production and budget goals through effective team direction.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC and local codes.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit and electrical devices as required.
• Interpret project specifications and schematics; layout work accordingly.
